Reports you unlock are yours forever — even if you cancel.

What happens to my reports if I cancel?
Your unlocked reports are yours forever. Cancelling ends your subscription, but every report you unlocked stays accessible in your account. You lose access to personalized city pages and premium tools at the end of your billing period.
What if my payment fails — do I lose access immediately?
No. You have a grace period to update your payment method. We will email you with instructions. If the payment is not recovered by the due date, your subscription ends and personalized city pages become unavailable — but your reports remain yours.
Can I unlock the same profile twice?
No — each full report unlock requires a distinct profile. Retaking the quiz creates a new profile. If you want to explore different answers (e.g., a different household size or origin city), run a new diagnostic and unlock that profile.
Do unused report unlocks roll over?
No — they reset every month. Each billing period starts fresh with 2 full report unlocks. If you do not use them, they expire at the end of the period.
Can I downgrade or pause instead of cancel?
There is no pause option today. You can cancel anytime and keep your reports. If you resubscribe later, you start fresh with 2 new unlocks.
If I resubscribe after cancelling, do I get new unlocks immediately?
Yes. When you resubscribe, you immediately receive 2 new unlocks for the new billing period. Your old reports remain accessible, and you can unlock 2 more profiles right away.
Can I share a subscription with my partner?
Subscriptions are tied to one account. Each person needs their own account and subscription. Household profiles (one subscription covering multiple people) are on our roadmap.
Why does my city page show different numbers than my report?
Your report is frozen at the moment you unlocked it — it stays stable so you can return to exactly what you paid for. Personalized city pages show live data while your subscription is active, so they reflect any updates we make to city information.

Your personalized report is permanent: even if you cancel, you keep access to your top 10 cities, Future Saturday, trade-off analysis, and Best season to arrive. The monthly fee unlocks the household-level Budget Lab and the unlimited explore tools.
Do I need to subscribe forever?
No. Most users subscribe for 1–3 months while actively researching, then cancel. Your report stays. Resubscribe later if you want to compare new cities or run another profile.
Can I change my answers?
During the diagnostic, you can go back to any question and change your answer before finishing. Once the quiz is complete, that profile is locked — to try different answers, run a new diagnostic. Each report covers one profile. Discover profiles are fully editable anytime.
What data sources do you use?
ERA5 climate reanalysis (hourly, 2015–2024) with CHIRPS and POWER bias correction, satellite and station air quality (WUSTL, OpenAQ, CAMS), OECD/Eurostat/WHO healthcare metrics, OpenStreetMap, GeoNames, GHSL, and AI-assisted analysis. All sources are cited on each city page.
